I guess we should update this once and while huh?

Well we really should update this thing but rather than do an all encompassing update but we really don't have the time for that right now, so here is an update from the past couple of days. Danielle has decided to pursue a Pharmacy Residency so that means that she has been applying and interviewing basically all over the country. She has already interviewed in Chicago and right now we are sitting in a hotel in Manhattan, celebrating Danielle's birthday as well has Bill's half-birthday and there is some kind of other holiday on Sunday. Now she's not interviewing for a position in New York, it's actually in the Lehigh Valley area in Pennsylvania, she interviewed on Thursday and we decided to make it a weekend and have some fun.

Well mother nature decided to make it a very memorable road trip. Three of the cities we drove through had record snow falls and apparently in Philadelphia they had what is called "thunder snow" its basically a thunderstorm with snow instead of rain, we did not experience it but I can tell you there was a lot of snow and somehow we ended up on a closed interstate and when we discovered they closed the roads to Allentown we decided to call it a day and found a hotel and waited until the morning to drive the final hour and half.

Tomorrow we are heading to DC and hopefully they have plowed the roads enough for us to have some fun there as well.

Getting Big!

Liam is getting so big, he's almost sitting up on his own now. He loves looking at the baby in the mirror.

Rice Cereal

We are on a posting frenzy here!
So last night we thought Liam was ready to try some rice cereal for the first time.
The results were kind of mixed and we made sure to document the event with video and pictures.
The video was absolutely his first taste of the stuff and then the pictures followed.

Another Durham Bulls Game!

Hello again,
Saturday was a wonderful day so we decided to head over to the Durham Bulls game. We had a great time but the game was very very long. We left after the 8th inning and it was already 3 1/2 hours long at that time. The game actually went until the 14th inning and it took them 5 hours, you can read all about it here.
We took some pictures with Bill's new camera, it makes us look like pros...well maybe not pros but it sure does take great pictures!

Quick Trip to Virginia Beach

Hello Everyone!
Well last weekend was a bit of madness but a whole lot of fun!
Danielle finished her first rotation of Pharmacy School so we decided to celebrate a little and take a quick road trip to Virginia Beach. We had heard the aquarium there was pretty cool so we headed up there after work on Friday and first thing Saturday morning we were looking at the fishies!
Here are a few of the pictures.



After the Aquarium we headed down the beach for some lunch and for Liam's first experience with the ocean and the sand. As you can see he wasn't too happy about it. We personally think he didn't like it because it was the Atlantic Ocean and not the Pacific ;)


After that we headed over to visit with Bill's cousin Sara who lives in Virginia Beach. It was especially great because her sister Betsy was also visiting! All of their kids were there as well, the kids were great and they even put on a show for us. Sorry about the Hannah Montana it was their choice of music.

A Day at The Zoo

Today we decided to make the drive to the NC Zoological Park.
We knew that Liam wouldn't remember this but we thought it would be a fun outing for us and expose him to more people and maybe see some cool animals.

Hey Everyone!
Well this has been a fun weekend. Bill's Mom came to visit and we had a great time.

On July 3rd, the weather was perfect and the Durham Bull's were playing the Charlotte Knights. We decided it would be fun to go to the game.

Danielle is trying to explain the game to Liam.

I think he enjoyed looking at us more than the game.

He even tried to see if Dad's hat would fit him...just a few more years!

By the time the fireworks came he was plum tuckered out...I'm sure this is the first of many trips to the ball game.
